Data collection when using the FINCODA Ratertraining / making use of the possibility of measuring one’s own observation and assessment skills by using the plugin H5P
The H5P plugin on this website is used to provide interactive teaching/learning opportunities as part of an Open Educational Resources (OER) for the purpose of measuring one’s own observation and assessment skills. Provider of the H5P plugin is Joubel AS, c/o Flow Coworking AS, Strandgata 9, 9008 Tromsø, Norway.
H5P processes and stores anonymized reporting data from your interactions with H5P elements via an xAPI interface. This data will be used to obtain feedback on the design of the interaction options offered. The feedback received is used by H5P to improve the user experience of H5P’s offerings. H5P stores a randomly generated UserID in the local memory of your computer, which is used for xAPI statements (xAPI = standard) that allows tracking, storing and sharing your learning experience across platforms and multiple contexts. The aim is to be able to associate the xAPI statements to the same person even if the user is not logged in, without having the information who the person is.
The use of H5P is in the interest of an appealing and contemporary presentation of learning offerings under the aspects of Open Educational Resources, Open Access and Open Source. The concern to make a university website more interesting, informative and user-friendly by means of different media formats constitutes a legitimate interest.
Legal basis for the data processing in the context of using the plugin H5P is Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f EU GDPR.
For more information about privacy, please refer to H5P’s documentation and Joubel AS’s privacy policy.
